A special feature of this 30-odd page pictorial with two-colour printing on the frontpage was its ‘Photographic Record of Southern China Events’ in which social news and cultural activities from Guangzhou and Hong Kong were reported. Other contents included its ‘Macau Special’ and ‘Hong Kong Sketches’, and numerous reproductions of calligraphy and paintings, among them works by Gao Qifeng, Zhao Shaoang, Li Futang, Chenshuren, Li Hancao. Its ‘Xianggang Taosheng’ section featured portraits of and works by female calligraphers from Hong Kong. The magazine also featured film stills from movies being made, among them articles and photos of the up-and-coming Pak Yin.
